Mr. Carmen Wells (83) was born to the union of Mr. Martin Wells and Mrs. Elizabeth Dashnaw on May 13, 1940. A native of Gouverneur, New York, and a resident of Murfreesboro, Tennessee for over twenty years exchanged life for eternity on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
He worked as Superintendent of Roadside for Gouverneur, New York. In New York Carmen was also a business owner and ran a farm, trailer park, apartment complex, construction company, and Wishing Wells Greenhouses. He served and received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corp. Carmen loved plants and flowers. He had a green THUMB!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Wells and Elizabeth Dashnaw; and several siblings, George E. Wells, Luella and Linda Wells.
He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life: a loving and devoted wife, Debra A. Morgan-Wells; four sons, Carmen F. Wells, Jr., Marty R. Wells, Mark P. Wells and Johnnie R. Wells; eleven grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Dynesihah (Andre) Moore and De’La’Sharae (Damon) Pledger; and a host of many dear friends.
