The following is a public service announcement from the Village of Gouverneur: The Village of Gouverneur, Department of Public Works, wishes to inform residents that hydrant flushing will be done during the day, from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 24, 2023 and then again from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Residents may notice a loss of water pressure and a slight discoloration of the water. While the water is safe to drink, residents are encouraged to hold off on doing white laundry.
