Notice: Village streets to be paved on Monday, Tuesday

The Village of Gouverneur Department of Public Works has informed the motoring public that Grove Street, Helena Street, and McKean Street is expected to be paved on Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29. Work will begin at 7 a.m. and continue throughout the two days. If inclement weather exists, the scheduled will change.

During the two days, throughout the day, these streets may be shut down to thru traffic and only emergency vehicles will be allowed through.

“We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation,” Village of Gouverneur DPW Supt. TJ Simmons said.
