Marylou Belmore, 75, of Gouverneur, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at St. Joseph's Home in Ogdensburg.
   Funeral services are private with the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur.
   Marylou was born in Gouverneur on March 12, 1941, the daughter of Earl and Mabel Nettles Mashaw.
   She was a homemaker and provided housekeeping services for several local families. Marylou enjoyed reading, watching television, and taking rides in the countryside.
   Marylou is survived by two daughters, Tammy and James Mullin of Gouverneur, Teresa Belmore and Santos Valentin of Midland, TX, a son, Timothy and Keiko Belmore of Mechanicsburg, PA, and a granddaughter Emily Mullin.
She is also survived by a brother Clarence "Porky" Mashaw of Edwards, two sisters Sally Watson of Tennessee, Betty Mashaw of Florida, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, her brothers Donald, Larry, Thomas, and Herbert William "Billy" Mashaw, sisters Jean Crandall, Eva Evans, and Ruth Noble, and two infant siblings.
