Patrick S. Fitzgerald, 60, of Lexington, North Carolina passed away on October 12, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital with his children at his side.

Patrick was born April 13, 1959 in Gouverneur to the late James and Joy (Bulger) Fitzgerald. He attended Gouverneur Central School. Patrick married the love of his life, Cathy, in Richmond, Virginia in 1986. They lived in Virginia, Gouverneur and Texas raising their family.

Patrick worked at an electronic company, Syracuse, Kraft Foods in Canton, and installed security systems in Texas. After the passing of his wife, Pat moved to North Carolina and was employed at Lowes until his recent retirement.

Patrick loved his family, enjoyed music and art. He painted beautiful landscape paintings.

Patrick is survived by his daughters, Brittany and Christopher McNeese, Ashley and Daniel Cawood, and Rachel and Felipe Sifuentes, Texas. A son, Matthew Fitzgerald of North Carolina and seven grandchildren. Two brothers, Michael and Gina Fitzgerald, California, and Joseph and Claressa Fitzgerald of Gouverneur, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

As per his wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral services.
