Leland “Lee” Towne, 85, of Cato, N.Y., passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020. He was born in Gouverneur, N.Y. on September 13, 1935 or Herman and Ella (Apple) Towne. He is survived by his wife Kathy and their daughter Carrie (Monroe). His other children from previous marriages include: Leland Jr. and Laura (Eden); Jodi (Bigarel), Brett, and Kendra (Travis) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Living sisters and brother include: Lillian (Fuller), Florence (Ashley), Elizabeth (Paro), Carol (Venton), Lorraine (Hand), Virginia, and Herman Jr.

Lee was predeceased by a son, Damon; sisters Mildred (Cornell) and Kathleen (Lamont) and brothers Nelson and Richard.

A celebration of life will be arranged in the spring of 2021.
