Eudora (Keller) Brown passed away at Gouverneur Hospital on October 3rd after a brief illness. Eudora resided on Parker St. in Gouverneur most of her adult life. She was born on January 13, 1939 at E.J. Noble Hospital to George and Elgreta (LaDuke) Keller. Eudora attended Gouverneur schools graduating from GHS in June of 1958. Eudora married Richard Brown on June 14th of 1958.
Eudora was a homemaker throughout her adult life enjoying preparing large meals for her family, baking. babysitting, home crafts, enjoying the flower garden planted by her husband. She truly enjoyed leisurely car rides on warm summer days throughout the rural countryside with her husband over many years. In addition enjoyed the companionship of many dogs over the years.
Eudora and her husband were blessed to have raised five children. Survivors include Lorinda Zira (Robert Bowman) of Fowler, Datus Brown and companion of Gouverneur, Lisa (Todd) McIntosh of Gouverneur, Lonnie Brown of Gouverneur and Shaun (Valerie) Brown of Balmat in addition to 10 grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren. In addition she is survived by a brother Gary (Cheryl) Keller of Ogdensburg and a sister Darlene Hastings of Gouverneur. She was pre-deceased by her husband Richard, her parents and brother Robert Keller all of Gouverneur.
Per Eudora's request there was no public funeral service. Arrangements were handled by Frederick Brothers Funeral and Cremation Service of Theresa, NY. Monetary donations in Eudora's name may be made to Friends 4 Pound Paws, 55 Owl Rd., Gouverneur, NY 13642.
