Marlyn E. Johnson

Marlyn E. Johnson, 74, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born in Gouverneur, NY to the late Katherine and Norman Hale. She retired as a bus driver from the ESM School District.

She enjoyed going to the Casino, was a classic car enthusiast and most especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert; daughter, KellyJo Johnson (Lewis Pudney) and son, Jason Johnson and his wife, Heather; sister, Mandy Schultz; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her dog, Bridgette.

Calling hours were 9:00 to 11:30 am followed by a time to share a memory until Noon on Monday, May 13th at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Rd., Minoa. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. A gathering to continue celebrating Marlyn’s life was held immediately following the cemetery at St. Mary’s Parish Center in Minoa.
