Judy Ann Bigelow, 73, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

There are no calling hours or funeral services. Arrangements are with the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur.

Judy was born in Gouverneur on August 15, 1951, the daughter of Howard and Marjorie (Hills) Morse.

She graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1969.

A marriage to Kenneth Mussaw ended in divorce.

Judy married Kevin Bigelow on August 21, 1976.

She had worked as a bartender, for Bette & Kring of Watertown, for Casablanca Restaurant, and the couple had operated Bedrock Backyard Barbecue until 2000.

Judy enjoyed her home where she and Kevin raised animals like chickens and fish in the ponds, took care of their gardens, canned vegetables, and spent time with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband Kevin, her sons Kenny and Kara Mussaw of Oneonta, Adrian and Angie Bigelow of Lisbon, Kevin Jr. and Danielle Bigelow of Hermon, several grandchildren, a great grandchild and another on the way. Judy is also survived by her sisters Norma Reynolds of Gouverneur, Linda Hance of Florida, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, a bother Gary Morse and a sister Lorraine Bell.
