Vina Klock

Vina “Rose” Klock passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025 at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, North Carolina.

Rose was born on August 2, 1939 to William and Isabel Miller in Syracuse.

Rose is predeceased by her husband, George H. Klock. She is survived by siblings, Nancy Cox-Hotaling and William Miller, eight children Basil W. Klock (predeceased by his wife Mary of North Carolina), Zane and Belinda Klock of North Carolina, Zelphia and Edward Cardinell of New York, Orson Klock and Dorothy Kring of North Carolina, Peggy and Anthony Langford of North Carolina, Zina and Thomas Phillips of North Carolina, Tanya and Jorge Uribe of North Carolina, Zoann Klock of New York.

She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including the following: Crystal and Dwight Scott of North Carolina (and three great-grandchildren), Basil and Michelle Klock of North Carolina (and three great-grandchildren), Benjamin and Lena Klock of North Carolina (and two great-grandchildren), Kimberly Winters of North Carolina, Luwanda Smith of North Carolina (and two great-grandchildren), Kristina Klock and Justin Radley of North Carolina (and five great-grandchildren), Betty Rose Klock and Jamie Houston of North Carolina (and four great-grandchildren), Travis and Caitlin Cardinell of New York (and five great-grandchildren), Jatanna and Luke Hewitt of New York (and four great-grandchildren), Joseph and Tori Klock of New York (and two great-grandchildren), David and Rebecca Klock of New York (and three great-grandchildren), Zachary Klock of New York, Brandon Klock of New York (one great-grandchild), Ethan Klock of North Carolina, Anthony and Sarah VanAllen of New York (and three great-grandchildren), Tiffany VanAllen and Nick Martin of North Carolina (and four great-grandchildren), Gabriella Klock-Alley of North Carolina, Kevin Fuller of New York, Joshua Uribe of New York, Dustin Klock of New York, and Rayven Collins of New York.

Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Rose are invited to attend the memorial service at the Oxbow Cemetery on May 11, 2025, at 1 p.m. A luncheon will follow.
