Emile L. Jesmer

Emile L. Jesmer, age 65, of Gouverneur, NY passed away unexpectedly at Gouverneur Hospital on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Emile was born on November 13, 1959 in Ogdensburg, NY. He is the son of the late Lloyd and Aldea M. (Barton) Jesmer. He graduated from Gouverneur Central School and then went on to Alfred University.

Emile worked as a hairdresser for Gary Winter’s Salon in Ogdensburg, Trendsetters in Gouverneur and most recently at Tangles Salon in Gouverneur. In his free time, Emile loved making doll houses that were auctioned off for various charities, painting, painting Adirondack chairs and he would bake wedding cakes.

Surviving is his sister, Tamara McEathron; his other siblings, Lydia O’Shea-Vance and Spencer Vance; two nieces, Andrea Braise and Teresa McEathron and their family and several cousins.
