It’s official! Halloween Trick-or-treating in the Village of Gouverneur will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 31. The Village of Gouverneur Board of Trustees voted unanimously on the matter during the Oct. 19 board meeting. In the past year, COVID-19 has kept the world from participating in many events – and Halloween was among the events impacted. According to guidance recently released by the CDC, it is safe for families to participate in collecting candy this year, using hand sanitizer and distributing candy outdoors.
