Timothy Paul Markwick, 57, of 275 Barney Street, Gouverneur, died on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown surrounded by his sisters.
He was born on October 29, 1958 to the late Paul Allen and Betty Ruth Boscoe Markwick. He was a carpenter for many years; he retired due to becoming disabled.
He is survived by his four sisters: Linda Bodah, Jane Hall, and Margo Yerdon all of Gouverneur; and Barbara Lamar, Watkins Glen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Timothy’s lifelong love was music. His happy place was playing the bass guitar. When he was young his dad taught him how to play the drums andfrom there he picked up guitar. God gave him a gift, self-taught, left handed, upside down known by so many as “Face on the Bass”.
Tim’s second love was his coon, hound “Blue”. She gave him great comfort, his unconditional companion. Last but not least his four older sisters. When their mom passed her last request was “you girls take care of that boy” and that they did. He is loved very much by so many.
Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2p.m. in the Riverside Cemetery in Gouverneur, NY held by the family.
