Karl C. Parker, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 27, 2024 at the age of 82.
Karl was born in Gouverneur, New York, the son of Virginia Pascoe and Charles Parker. He graduated from GHS in 1960. He received Bachelors and Masters degrees in counseling at the University of Kentucky and attended UC Berkely in a doctoral program. Karl moved to Napa in 1976 and worked as a counselor for the State of California for over 40 years.
He will be remembered as among the kindest of men, with a willingness to laugh at himself and life, and be helpful to all.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha, and sons, Jeffrey and Thomas, stepdaughters Jennifer and Carrie, six grandchildren, and his sisters Linda O’Brien, Connie Pascoe, and Pam Cima.
He will be greatly missed.
