Vickie Lee Streeter

Vickie Lee Streeter, age 71, of Gouverneur, NY passed away on April 3, 2026 at the Gouverneur Hospital surrounded by her family.

There was a graveside service for Vickie on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hailesboro Cemetery with Honorable Reverand Roger K. Duvall officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.

Vickie was born on May 28, 1954 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Ellis and Ima (Goodison) Greenwood. Vickie graduated from Gouverneur Central School and then went on to Canton College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science for Mortuary Science. She married Thomas Selover on April 1, 2005 at the LeRay Town office with the Justice of Peace officiating.

Vickie worked as a funeral director for Sprague Funeral Home in Gouverneur for many years. After her retirement from the funeral home, she worked at the Public Affairs Office at Fort Drum for 29 ½ years. In her free time, Vickie loved tending to her flower gardens and collecting various trinkets.

Surviving is her husband, Thomas Selover; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Brandy Streeter; grandson, Brandon Streeter and his companion, Callie Nikirk; great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Zay and Sutton; a sister, Doreen Yaddow; and her close friend, Honorable Reverand Roger K. Duvall.
